Over the years, you’ve probably realized that movie studios like Disney and Pixar will put some hidden secrets in their movies. (In fact, we have even discovered some before.) However, Disney just keeps hiding awesome secrets in their movies. They won’t stop the awesomeness.
These brand-new hidden “Easter eggs” were found in some Disney movies (along with a few classic surprises). They’re easy to miss, so don’t be surprised that you won’t recognize ANY of these. Disney may be tricky, but now you know their secrets. And they are awesome.
1. Sleepy Beauty’s spinning wheel can be found in Rapunzel’s tower in Tangled.
2. Flynn Rider and Rapunzel make an appearance at Elsa’s coronation in Frozen.
3. And it seems Tiana and Naveen were in attendance as well.
4. Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. appears as a small figure in Frozen.
5. Two Tangled characters (Maximus and Vladimir) show up in Wreck-It-Ralph.
6. Hans from Frozen shows up in a wanted poster during Big Hero 6.
7. A little Mickey Mouse doll also appears in Frozen.
8. A copy of the book Rapunzel is in Charlotte’s room in The Princess and the Frog.
9. A shadow in The Princess And The Frog looks a lot like Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas…
10. Tick-Tock, the crocodile from Peter Pan, is backstage during The Goofy Movie concert.
11. Mickey Mouse can be found in a crowd during A Goofy Movie.
12. Dumbo shows up as a bubble toy in The Great Mouse Detective.
13. Jock, from Lady and the Tramp, helps the pups during 101 Dalmatians.
14. Pongo shows up during a song in Oliver & Company.
15. Don Knotts’ Henry Limpet fish character (from The Incredible Mr. Limpet) shows up during The Little Mermaid.
16. Kermit the Frog makes an appearance during The Little Mermaid.
17. There’s a Mulan restaurant in Lilo & Stitch.
18. Scat Cat from The Aristocats also shows up in the animated Robin Hood.
19. In The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pumbaa makes an appearance as a gargoyle.
20. Is that Bambi’s mom… or Shere Kahn’s prey in the Jungle Book?
21. Posters for The Jungle Book and Toy Story 2 show up in the background of Meet The Robinsons.
22. The woman who voiced Malefecent in Sleeping Beauty…Also voiced the Stepmother in “Cinderella”.
23. In “Brave” the witch who turns Merida’s mother into a bear has carved Sully from “Monsters Inc” into a log.
24. Dug from “Up” makes a shadowy appearance in “Ratatouille”.
25. Almost every Pixar movie mentions Apple because the company was partially founded by Steve Jobs.
26. The peddler at the beginning of “Aladdin” was supposed to be revealed as the genie. That’s why Robin Williams does the voice of both.
27. The muses of “Hercules” sing while appearing as marble busts during the song “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” positioned in the same way as the singing heads from the Haunted Mansion ride.
28. Mary Gibbs, the voice of ‘Boo’ in “Monsters Inc.” was a toddler during the making of the film. It was hard to get her to sit still in the studio so the producers recorded her playing and pieced together Boo’s lines using things she would say
29. Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” is based of Alyssa Milano.
30. …and Aladdin is based off of Tom Cruise.
31. In “The Lion King” tiger roars were used because lion roars are actually a little too quiet.
32. To save money, sometimes Disney had to recycle animations in different films.
33. The voices of Mickey and Minnie were actually a married couple, Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor. According to Disney, Mickey and Minnie are just dating.
34. Ursula the Sea Witch in “The Little Mermaid” is base off a popular 70’s drag singer named ‘Divine’.
35. Andy from “Toy Story” has a postcard on his bulletin board from Carl and Ellie from “Up”.
36. The vultures in “The Jungle Book” are based on The Beatles. They were supposed to be voiced by them too, but scheduling conflicts arose.
37. The evil, toy torturing ‘Sid’ from the first “Toy Story” is seen as the garbage man in “Toy Story 3”.
38. Disney comments on Kristoff’s assertion that all men eat their own boogers at the end of the credits of “Frozen”.
39. The sorcerer from Fantasia’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is named Yen Sid, which is ‘Disney’ spelled backwards.
40. Brother Bear – Nemo makes an appearance when Kenai disrupts the salmon fishing.
41. 101 Dalmations – Lady and the Tramp show up in the Twilight barking scene.
42. Aladdin – The Beast is one of Sultan’s toys
43. The Hunchback Of Notre Dame – Aladdin’s Magic Carpet, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Pumbaa from The Lion King, are seen on the street surrounding Notre Dame during the “Out There” scene.
44. 101 Dalmations – Peg from Lady and the Tramp is in the window of Percy’s Pet Shop
45. The Great Mouse Detective – Bill the Lizard, from Alice In Wonderland, is part of Ratigan’s gang.
46. The Little Mermaid – During the wedding scene, The King and The Grand Duke from Cinderella are guests.
47. Oliver & Company – Yep, that’s Jock, Peg, and Trusty from Lady & The Tramp.
48. The Black Cauldron – When Taran, Princess Eilonwy, and Fflewddur Fflam discover the Fair Folk and their underground kingdom, Tinkerbell appears among the fairies.
49. Oliver & Company – Ratigan, from The Great Mouse Detective, and Scooby Doo are hidden among the photos in the “Perfect Isn’t Easy” scene.
50. Hercules – the slain lion is Scar from The Lion King.
51. The Princess and the Frog – that’s Aladdin’s magic carpet in the opening scene.
52. Tangled – look closely because that’s Pinocchio up in the rafters during the I’ve Got A Dream scene.
53. Lilo & Stitch – don’t miss the Dumbo toy sitting there.
54. The Princess and the Frog – Louis pulls on some swamp grass and imitates Madam Mim from The Sword and the Stone.
55. Tangled – 3 classic Disney books appear in this one. Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast
56. Oliver & Company – Princess Aurora in the background.
57. The Princess and the Frog – King Triton appears as the Mardi Gras float.
58. Tarzan – That’s Mrs. Potts and Chip from Beauty and the Beast
59. The Rescuers – Bambi and his mother 🙂
60. The Princess and the Frog – While Mama Odie sings “Dig a Little Deeper,” she throws around a few items, one of which is Genie’s Magic Lamp from Aladdin.
61. Lilo & Stitch – a Mulan poster shows up in the background
62. Little Mermaid – Hey look, it’s Goofy!
63. Beauty and the Beast – When Maurice and Felipe are lost in the woods, the road signs say Valencia and Anaheim. Disney Land is in Anaheim and Valencia is where many Disney artists study (California Institute of Technology)
64. Treasure Planet – a doll of Stitch on the shelf
65. The Fox and the Hound – Wart (in squirrel form) from The Sword in the Stone makes a cameo.
66. Lilo & Stitch – The ball from Pixar’s Luxo Jr. can be seen in the background.

It’ll be hard to look at these awesome Disney films the same way again. The next time you watch a Disney or Pixar movie, keep your eyes peeled. There’s probably a few hidden treasures in it that you’ll want to look out for!
